Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, CloudFormation, and related tools.
• Stand up and manage Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in production and non-production environments.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI, including defining guidelines, strategies, and toolchain integration.
• Create and maintain Landing Zones and secure AWS environments for Dev, Test, and Prod.
• Design and support Blue/Green deployment strategies and environment automation using infrastructure-as-code.
• Implement security best practices throughout the DevOps lifecycle, incorporating compliance and governance from the start.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed security into all phases of the software delivery pipeline.
• Support event-driven and microservices architectures including serverless components.
• Participate in technical planning, integration, verification, and validation for the entire DevSecOps toolchain.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements, explain technical approaches, and drive secure solutions.
• Promote Agile methodologies, working in cross-functional teams to accelerate delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building infrastructure in large-scale enterprise environments.
• 3–5+ years in a senior DevOps/DevSecOps engineering role.
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS and its services (e.g., EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, Route 53).
• Strong proficiency in Terraform, with experience in scripting deployments across multiple environments.
• Proficiency in CloudFormation and hands-on experience in creating reusable templates.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD toolchains: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI.
• Experience implementing security-focused DevOps practices (DevSecOps).
• Knowledge of serverless architecture, event-driven systems, and microservices.
• Strong understanding of DNS, networking, and IAM policies within cloud environments.
• Experience in establishing CI/CD standards, guidelines, and governance.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
