Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the migration of applications to a new cloud instance and technology stack within Azure.
• Design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters (AKS) and containerized applications.
• Configure and maintain Azure networking components, including VNETs, subnets, private endpoints, and firewalls.
• Manage Azure-hosted databases (Cosmos DB, SQL) and MongoDB Atlas.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Implement monitoring and observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Enforce security best practices including Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Key Vault integration, and network security.
• Automate operational tasks and scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall IT experience, with 3-5+ years focused in DevOps roles.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services including AKS, VNET, Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerization (Docker).
• Proficiency in MongoDB Atlas and Azure database solutions (Cosmos DB, SQL).
• Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts such as VNETs, subnets, firewalls, and private endpoints.
• Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including RBAC, Key Vault, and network security controls.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
