Job Description:

• This role is responsible for the setup, configuring and delivery of Release Orchestration Toolsets.
• Key responsibilities of this role include ensuring that software deployments are setup and configured to meet standards for access, ownership, and authentication.
• This role ensures software promotion release pipelines are well designed and follow Continuous Delivery (CD) best practices.
• These individuals are aware of development, testing practices, software delivery tools and runtime application standards at the bank and ensure they are integrated during implementation.

 

Responsibilities

• This position is for a DevOps Engineer role within a diverse cross-functional team.
• Configuration and support of the enterprise SDLC toolset including work management, source control, and CI/CD tools.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivery of component onboarding which requires engagement from multiple teams.
• Provides Onboarding and Day-1 support for SDLC environment pipelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for onboarding, s/he must assist with technology setup, questions and resolution of issues.
• Troubleshoot build and setup failures, and facilitate resolution.
• Assist in internal team documentation to streamline processes and broaden knowledgebase.
• Proactively work with internal teams to streamline onboarding and usage of capabilities.
• Communicate status frequently to technology partners.
• Ensures execution and delivery meets technology’s expectations in terms of the functionality, quality and timeline.
• Partners with architecture and tech solution owner to ensure project efforts are aligned to enterprise standards and tech strategy.

 
Required Skills

• Ability to understand various / complex application architecture to support setting up Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Deployment (CD) and Continuous Testing.
• Version Control (GIT/Bitbucket), Build Orchestration (Jenkins), Code Quality (SonarQube and Unit Testing frameworks), Artifact Management (Artifactory) and Deployment (Ansible).
• Experience with Database Build & Deployment using Datical and Release Orchestration using XLRelease would be an added advantage.
• Hands-on experience in application development and operating environments including Windows Server, .NET, SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux platform, including LDAP-based authentication integration and clustering.
• Communicate effectively, clearly articulating technical issues, problem incident resolution, readiness status and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
