We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated DevOps Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud transformation and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in multi-cloud environments, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, DevSecOps, observability, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps). This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on architecture experience, and collaboration across engineering, security, and operations teams to modernize legacy systems and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cloud-native DevOps and SRE initiatives across AWS (primary), Azure, and GCP environments.
- Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient infrastructure solutions for mission-critical enterprise applications.
- Architect and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Pulumi to support consistent and repeatable deployments across multiple environments.
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD to enable fast, reliable, and low-risk software releases.
- Drive DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security controls, vulnerability scanning, policy-as-code, IAM, and compliance automation into deployment pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks including SOC2, PCI-DSS, and ISO standards.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, Dynatrace, BigPanda, and PagerDuty.
- Improve system reliability, uptime, incident response, and MTTR through proactive monitoring, AIOps, and automation strategies.
- Promote GitOps culture and best practices for infrastructure and application delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, infrastructure, security, and operations to modernize legacy platforms and streamline deployment processes.
- Support cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives by analyzing infrastructure utilization and implementing cost-efficient solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on DevOps architecture, automation, and operational best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services; exposure to Azure and GCP preferred.
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Pulumi).
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, and ArgoCD.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles, security automation, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Dynatrace, and PagerDuty.
- Experience implementing GitOps methodologies and automation frameworks.
- Strong scripting/programming skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
