Design, develop, and implement DevOps strategies and frameworks for AMI systems, focusing on a new meter collar.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the DER meter collar adapter.
Automate deployment processes, monitoring, and maintenance of DER meter collars to ensure compliance, high availability, and scalability.
Lead the development of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior DevOps engineers and other team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of experience in a utility company, with at least 3 years of experience on AMI systems, meter collars, and utility distribution schemes.
Experience with infrastructure management and monitoring.
Working knowledge of automation service provisioning and middleware configuration.
Strong knowledge of DevOps Platform tooling ( Chef, Puppet, and Docker.)
