We are currently seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in stabilizing and orchestrating cloud deployments. You should have a strong technical background and expertise in various tools and technologies related to DevOps practices.

Required Skills:

• Docker: Proficiency in containerization using Docker, including container management, orchestration, and deployment.
• Artifactory: Experience with Artifactory or similar artifact repository management systems.
• Nomad (or Kubernetes): Strong knowledge of either Nomad or Kubernetes for container orchestration. Familiarity with additional training requirements for Nomad is acceptable if the candidate has expertise in Kubernetes.
• Load Balancer Configuration: Ability to configure and manage load balancers for efficient distribution of traffic.
• SSL/mTLS: Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates and the implementation of mutual authentication (mTLS) in a distributed environment.
• Familiarity with Java/JVM: Knowledge of Java and the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is desirable.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Observability Experience: Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus and Open Metrics, enabling effective monitoring and alerting in a production environment.
• Load Testing Concepts: Understanding of load testing principles and experience with load testing tools and frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement DevOps best practices and improve deployment processes.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for cloud-based applications.
• Automate deployment processes and configuration management using industry-standard tools.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the integrity of the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, infrastructure, and performance.
