Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on support to users for hardware and software issues on desktop and laptop systems.
• Configure and deploy new user workstations, including hardware setup and software installation.
• Upgrade and maintain existing desktop systems and ensure all devices comply with company standards.
• Set up, manage, and support local network and telecommunication systems.
• Troubleshoot LAN, connectivity, and server-related issues.
• Use a ticketing system to document, track, and manage support requests and incidents.
• Perform computer imaging, data migration, and data restoration tasks.
• Conduct remote troubleshooting using remote access tools and provide resolution guidance to users.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a Desktop Support or IT Helpdesk role.
• Strong knowledge of PC and laptop hardware components, troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Proficient in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems and common business software (e.g., Microsoft Office, VPN, antivirus, etc.).
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and LAN/WAN troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, user account management, and group policy application.
• Experience using and managing a helpdesk/ticketing system.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer-service orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar IT certifications.
• Experience supporting remote users and mobile devices.
• Familiarity with imaging tools such as MDT, SCCM, or similar platforms.
