The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to end users for their desktop computers, software applications, and peripherals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as experience with troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and resolve user support tickets
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Provide training and support on desktop computer usage
• Document technical issues and solutions
• Maintain and update desktop computer systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3 to 6 years of experience in desktop support
• Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving common technical issues
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills:

• Experience with remote support tools
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
• Experience with Windows Server and macOS Server
