We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate must possess excellent problem-solving abilities and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support to end-users, maintaining hardware and software, troubleshooting network issues, and contributing to the improvement of IT processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, and other enterprise applications.
• Monitor and maintain network equipment, including switches and routers.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure system stability and security.
• Document IT procedures and provide user training as needed.
• Respond promptly to service requests and ensure follow-up until resolution.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Desktop Support Engineer.
• Experience in Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and SharePoint.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team player.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
