Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 6 years of experience in providing end user computing support, with expertise in hardware break-fix services, IMAC services, vendor coordination, and smart hand support for various IT devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of our company's desktop and laptop hardware.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hardware break-fix services for desktop and laptop hardware.
  • Perform IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) services for desktop, laptop, and other end user computing devices.
  • Provide Smart Hand Support for server, network, MFD, and other site-specific IT devices.
  • Coordinate with vendors for MFD, escort, and issue management during scheduled full day visits.
  • Provide audio and video conferencing support for user-related issues.
  • Provide mobile device support for user-related issues.
  • Update assets and inventory in ServiceNow asset management.
  • Provide Smart Hand Support services, including connecting cables to routers, switches, and hubs, moving cables into RJ-45 jack outlets at end user desks for user/desk movement, and plugging/unplugging power cables and cables into PBX systems.
  • Follow Covid protocols as per local government norms and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in providing end user computing support.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware break-fix services and IMAC services.
  • Experience with vendor coordination and Smart Hand Support.
  • Familiarity with audio and video conferencing technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
