Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design efforts, including schematics generation and design validation.
• Provide support for functional validation by working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to release the product to contract manufacturers (CM).
• Work with extended teams to identify and resolve complex hardware issues throughout the product lifecycle.

Required Skills

• Develop next-generation routers from concept to design, implementation, validation, and release to manufacturing.
• Proficient in hardware design, schematics generation, and design validation.
• Support functional validation efforts by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure smooth product release to contract manufacturers (CM).
• Work with extended teams to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues efficiently.
• 7+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 5+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with high-speed network interfaces (10G/25G/100G).
• Expertise in board design tools such as Cadence Allegro or similar tools.

Required Experience

• Extensive experience with high-speed SERDES (>=25G) system design, signal integrity issues, and power distribution techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively with eCAD, FPGA, Power, Mechanical, Signal Integrity, and Manufacturing teams.
• Familiarity with leading-edge CPUs like Intel or AMD.
• In-depth knowledge of networking components such as PCIe switches, PHY, and retimers.
