Job Description

We are seeking a DDI SRF Engineer to support and manage enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) infrastructure. This role focuses on service request fulfillment, operational support, and change management within a 24x7 network operations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support for DDI infrastructure (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) in a 24x7 production environment
  • Manage Service Requests, Incidents, and Changes, including adding, modifying, and deleting DDI configurations
  • Analyze incoming requests, prioritize, schedule, and execute changes aligned with business needs
  • Perform pre-validation, implementation, and post-change verification activities
  • Submit and manage Change Requests (CRQs) through the full change management lifecycle
  • Conduct testing in non-production environments to ensure successful production deployments
  • Collaborate with Network Operations, Engineering, Architecture teams, and business stakeholders
  • Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and design review meetings
  • Act as an escalation point for complex service requests and unresolved issues
  • Maintain proper documentation, ticket updates, and handoffs
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience with BlueCat and Vital QIP (DDI platforms)
  • Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and TCP/IP networking
  • Knowledge of networking concepts: firewalls, load balancing, IPS, routing, switching
  • Experience managing global DDI environments and fulfilling requests (RRs, device registration, site codes)
  • Familiarity with packet analysis and troubleshooting
  • Experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Service Request Management)
  • Hands-on experience with Remedy ITSM or similar tools
  • Expertise in DDI tools: BlueCat, Vital QIP, DNS platforms
  • Strong understanding of authentication & directory services: LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, IWA
  • Knowledge of subnetting and network design fundamentals
  • Adherence to operational discipline and SOPs
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer-facing communication skills
