Job Resposibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for ETL batch jobs and proactively monitor system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve job failures, incidents, and participate in triage calls
• Document root causes and implement preventive actions
• Maintain and enhance existing DataStage jobs, ensuring quality and performance
• Work closely with QA, BAs, SMEs, and Project Teams to ensure smooth deployments
• Support configuration, setup, and maintenance of new and existing ETL jobs
• Contribute to process automation using Shell scripts and SQL
• Ensure data quality, business rule validation, and handle high-volume data loads
• Identify and implement system improvements and automation opportunities
• Document procedures, processes, and support runbooks

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage in a production support or ETL development role
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting for automation and job control
• Strong working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
• Proven experience in ETL job monitoring, incident resolution, and root cause analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL failures, performance bottlenecks, and data discrepancies
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or similar platforms
• Experience in supporting and maintaining high-volume data loads and complex batch processes
• Solid understanding of data integration best practices, including data quality and business rule validation
