Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs according to specifications.
• Optimize existing DataStage jobs for performance.
• Handle enterprise-level data management and transfer solutions using the DataStage ETL interface.
• Ensure that data is extracted, transformed, and loaded correctly, and manage each stage of the ETL process to facilitate smooth transfers of large volumes of data from different sources to targets.
• Provide estimations, make an analysis of requirements, and set up Datastage projects according to requirements.
• Work with clients and business analysts to design, develop, test, and deploy DataStage ETL jobs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in DataStage development and administration.
• Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Informatica, Ab Initio, or Oracle ETL.
• Strong SQL skills and other relevant coding languages.
• Experience with Hadoop is a plus.
• Expert in DataStage solution conception, design, and deployment.
• Knowledge of data modeling, database design, and the data warehousing ecosystem.
• Skilled at the ideation, design, and deployment of DataStage solutions.
