Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data integration routines for moving, cleansing, and transforming large datasets.
• Identify data sources and create data flow diagrams, source-to-target mappings, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Architects and BI Developers to recommend data models and create analytic reports.
• Design and maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) and implement database security.
• Work with data stewards and owners to ensure best practices for data integrity, testing, and validation.
• Optimize data warehouse performance through batch processing, parallelization, and performance tuning.
• Establish processes to govern metadata and ensure its accuracy in BI environments.
• Implement data quality controls, proactive monitoring, and data cleansing techniques.
• Manage scheduled data processes, deployments, and releases, ensuring integrity.
• Use version control (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
• Provide on-call support as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
• 3+ years in BI development with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with SSIS and Stored Procedures.
• 2+ years working with PowerBI.
• Experience with data modeling, relational database design, and SQL programming.
• Strong mentoring and analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
