Job Description

• Currently working on migration project from lower DB2 Version to higher DB2 Version
• 5+ Years of DB2 Administration exp needed.
• Shell scripting exp needed for automating routine tasks.
• Ansible/Python preferred for automation.
• Will be designing DB2 including architecture, installation processes, build and configuration standards.
• Unix environment
• Will be configuring database and database clients to use data in Transit TLS Encryption and/or Password in Transit Encryption
• Troubleshooting and solutioning Encrypted connections of various types like jdbc, odbc and native clients.
• Will be upgrading DB2 databases.
• Understanding of High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Storage will be important.
• Some exposure towards Database security is good to have which included implementation, support and auditing database security in DB2.
• Some automation work with Ansible/Python is preferred.
