We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Large Language Models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking or finance, with hands-on experience in NLP, deep learning, time series analysis, and deploying models in production. You will work in an agile environment to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large financial datasets to extract actionable insights and support business decisions.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate machine learning models and algorithms for banking use cases such as risk modeling, fraud detection, and customer segmentation.
- Apply and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for tasks including document analysis, customer communication, and regulatory compliance.
- Deploy machine learning models to production and ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Work with data engineers to ensure data quality, pipeline reliability, and integration with analytical systems.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Follow best practices for MLOps, model governance, and regulatory compliance in the banking sector.
Required Skills and Experience
- Primary Skills: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Secondary Skills: Data science, Python, NLP, Agile tools (JIRA, Rally).
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in banking or finance.
- Proficiency in Python or R, with experience in libraries such as pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with NLP, deep learning, time series analysis, and large-scale model deployment.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning, and data mining techniques.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Big Data platforms (Hadoop) and relational databases (SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Rally).
