In this role, you will work with complex, real-world datasets to derive insights and develop machine learning models at scale. Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex, messy datasets from the energy sector to extract meaningful insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning models (e.g., classification, clustering, decision trees, artificial neural networks, regression) to solve business problems.
• Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis and modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to improve processes and outcomes.
• Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, R) to manipulate large datasets and draw actionable insights.
• Work with cloud platforms (Azure or other) to deploy machine learning models and manage data workflows.
• Monitor and maintain model performance, iterating on designs as necessary to enhance accuracy and reliability.

Required Experience/Skills

• Proven experience working with real-world, messy data, particularly within the energy industry.
• Demonstrated experience with machine learning work at scale, including developing and deploying models in a cloud environment.
• Proficient in data cleaning and validation techniques to ensure data integrity.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
