Roles and Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the development of scalable ML/AI solutions in the BFSI domain.
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles from ideation to production deployment.
• Define best practices, standards, and governance for AI/ML solutions and model management.
• Collaborate with data engineering, MLOps, product, and business teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Drive integration of AI/ML models into production systems.
• Evaluate and recommend ML tools, frameworks, and cloud solutions.
• Guide feature engineering, data strategy, and feature store design.
• Promote innovation in generative AI, reinforcement learning, and graph-based learning.
• Lead or contribute to Centers of Excellence (CoEs) or data science accelerators.
• Contribute to open-source projects or publish research in the AI/ML space.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing and deploying scalable AI/ML solutions.
• Expertise in machine learning, cloud-native architectures, and MLOps practices.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent understanding of BFSI business challenges and opportunities.
• Experience with Spark, PySpark, and Scala is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Proficient in Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, HuggingFace
• Strong experience in NLP, LLMs (GPT), and deep learning
• Hands-on experience with MLOps pipelines and tools
• Experience with graph analytics (Neo4j, TigerGraph, NetworkX)
• Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• BFSI domain knowledge and financial services expertise
