Data Product Manager

We are seeking an experienced Data Product Manager to define and deliver data products that solve business problems and drive measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate will combine strong product management skills with an understanding of data architecture, governance, analytics, and cloud data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for data products.

• Align product objectives with business goals and stakeholder needs.

• Partner with business users to identify problems, understand requirements, and define effective solutions.

• Collaborate with designers and research teams on user research and usability studies.

• Work closely with engineers, architects, analysts, and data teams to build scalable data products.

• Prioritize features, manage product backlogs, and drive Agile delivery.

• Lead requirements discovery, solution design, user stories, feature development, and UAT.

• Coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure delivery risks are identified and managed.

• Communicate product progress, dependencies, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders.

• Define KPIs and success metrics to measure product adoption and business impact.

• Monitor product usage and feedback to drive continuous improvement.

• Ensure data products comply with data governance, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify opportunities for new data products and enhancements based on business needs, user behavior, and market trends.

• Drive stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and change management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional product management experience, preferably with data or technology products.

• Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data governance.

• Experience with SQL, Python, Looker, Power BI, or similar data and analytics technologies.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and modern data pipelines.

• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and prioritization skills.

• Experience driving change management and Agile product delivery.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
