Data Modeler

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise data platforms
• Build scalable and high-performance data models in Snowflake environments
• Apply industry best practices for data modeling standards, naming conventions, and documentation
• Work with semi-structured data (JSON) for ingestion, parsing, and transformation
• Write complex and optimized SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and analysis
• Optimize data structures for performance, scalability, and efficient data access
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data models
• Support analytics and reporting needs through well-designed data structures
• Maintain comprehensive data documentation, metadata, and lineage information
• Ensure consistency and adherence to enterprise data modeling standards

Mandatory Domain Requirement

• Must have experience in the Mortgage Servicing domain, specifically in:
  • Active Servicing
  • Default Servicing
  • Secondary Market
• Strong understanding of MISMO standards is mandatory for consideration

Technical Skills (Must Have)

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling and database design
• Strong expertise in SQL and relational database concepts
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Experience working with JSON scripting and semi-structured data
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling (Star Schema and Snowflake Schema)
