Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance strategies and policies leveraging MS Purview and Verato tools.
• Establish and maintain a data governance framework, including data policies, standards, processes, and procedures.
• Lead the creation and ongoing management of a data catalog, data dictionary, and other data asset inventories.
• Oversee the identification and appointment of data stewards across the organization.
• Monitor and report on data quality, data usage, and other key data metrics.
• Develop and implement data security and privacy controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to the data governance program.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
• Experience in data governance, with a focus on MS Purview and Verato.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts, principles, and best practices.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to data governance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks, data security, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data engineering concepts.
• Proficiency in using data governance tools and platforms.
• Certifications in MS Purview and/or Verato are a plus.
