Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying data-related risks and associated controls for key business processes, including record retention, data quality, data movement, data stewardship, data protection, and data sharing.
• Identify data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation of audit and regulatory feedback.
• Develop a deep understanding of enterprise data policies, serving as a policy expert and educating teams on policy implications.
• Monitor holistic platform data quality, including critical data elements, and communicate issues effectively.
• Collaborate with product managers to ensure all new use cases comply with policies.
• Contribute to strategic improvements in data assessment processes and analytical tools.
• Support regulatory reporting requirements by coordinating with upstream data providers, downstream business partners, and technology teams.
• Act as a subject matter expert on multiple platforms.
• Partner with the Data Steward Manager to develop and manage the data compliance roadmap.

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Data Management and Data Governance concepts, including metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• 2 – 5 years of Data Quality Management experience.
• Intermediate competency in SQL and Python (or related programming languages).
• Strong familiarity with data architecture and data modeling concepts.
• 2 – 5 years of experience with Agile or SAFe project methodologies.
• Proven experience in a data governance, data quality, or data management role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
