Assist in identifying data-related risks and associated controls for key business processes, including record retention, data quality, data movement, data stewardship, data protection, and data sharing.
Identify data quality issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation of audit and regulatory feedback.
Develop a deep understanding of enterprise data policies, serving as a policy expert and educating teams on policy implications.
Monitor holistic platform data quality, including critical data elements, and communicate issues effectively.
Collaborate with product managers to ensure all new use cases comply with policies.
Contribute to strategic improvements in data assessment processes and analytical tools.
Support regulatory reporting requirements by coordinating with upstream data providers, downstream business partners, and technology teams.
Act as a subject matter expert on multiple platforms.
Partner with the Data Steward Manager to develop and manage the data compliance roadmap.
Required Technical/Functional Skills
Strong understanding of Data Management and Data Governance concepts, including metadata, lineage, and data quality.
2 – 5 years of Data Quality Management experience.
Intermediate competency in SQL and Python (or related programming languages).
Strong familiarity with data architecture and data modeling concepts.
2 – 5 years of experience with Agile or SAFe project methodologies.
Proven experience in a data governance, data quality, or data management role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
