Role and Responsibilities

• Identify and drive best practices for data platforms.
  
• Provides technical architecture, design, and direction to scrum teams.
  
• works with stakeholders in defining and resolving technical problems.
  
• close collaboration with product, integrating applications & scrum teams.
  
• Has a keen eye for process efficiency, and identifies/implements automation opportunities.
• Hands-on technical lead to support existing data platform and lead GCP migration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Experience leading and providing hands-on mentoring/grooming teams on design, problem-solving, root cause analysis, post-mortems, etc.
• Broad technical expertise, specifically in data engineering (Hadoop/hive, spark/scala, Kafka streaming), GCP with good exposure to Java, TensorFlow, instrumentation/telemetry, etc.
• Experience leading business-critical, data-intensive applications.
• Experience migrating legacy applications to the public cloud.
