Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and processing needs.
• Work with big data technologies such as Impala, Hadoop, and Kafka to manage and process large volumes of data.
• Collaborate with BI teams to provide data support and integration for reports and dashboards.
• Utilize cloud-based computing platforms (e.g., Azure, Data Factory) to deploy data solutions and automate data workflows.
• Leverage knowledge of ETL tools, specifically Alteryx, to create and manage data transformation processes.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Ensure data quality and integrity across systems and resolve any data-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Create and maintain documentation related to data processes, procedures, and architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a related data management role.
• Hands-on experience with big data technologies (e.g., Impala, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Proficiency with BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
• Experience with cloud-based computing and integration tools, particularly within Azure and Data Factory.
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL for data querying and database management.
• Experience with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge and experience with ETL tools, especially Alteryx, for data transformation.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with different teams.
