We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in New York. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring Atlas workflows, building data ingestion pipelines, validating fund administration data, and applying critical business rules. You will also work on integrating with Canoe to streamline our data processes.
 
Key Responsibilities
- Configure Atlas Workflows: Set up and manage Atlas workflows for streamlined data processing and automation.
- Build Ingestion Pipelines: Design and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines to ensure smooth data flow from various sources.
- Validate Fund Admin Data: Conduct thorough validation of fund administration data to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Apply Business Rules: Implement and enforce business rules on incoming data, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and compliance.
- Integrate with Canoe: Work on integrating data processes with the Canoe platform, enhancing data automation, and reducing manual efforts.
- Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to optimize data pipelines and workflows.
- Troubleshoot and Optimize: Identify and address data issues, optimize performance, and ensure data reliability across systems.
 
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong expertise with Atlas and workflow management tools.
- Experience in building and optimizing data ingestion pipelines.
- Proficiency in data validation and applying complex business rules to datasets.
- Familiarity with the Canoe platform or similar financial data management tools is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data manipulation.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
 
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the financial services or fund administration industry.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
