Core Responsibilities

• Utilize strong Python skills to perform data wrangling and ensure the code is unit testable and maintainable.
• Work with Azure technologies, including SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Machine Learning Studio, to integrate and manage data.
• Ensure optimal performance of data pipelines and build predictive models tailored to specific use cases.
• Collaborate with data scientists to provide cleansed and well-structured data for effective modeling.
• Create models with future AI deployments in mind, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
• Fine-tune and standardize disparate data sources to facilitate integration and analysis.
• Orchestrate data flows through Azure Data Factory, assisting with data cleansing as required.
• Determine the meaning of various data elements and their integration points to support data science efforts.
• Ensure seamless connectivity and data flow between disparate systems.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience with the Python ecosystem, particularly in data wrangling and analysis.
• Proficient with Azure services, including SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Machine Learning Studio.
• Experience using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience in writing unit testable code.
• Familiarity with both structured and unstructured data, with the ability to fine-tune and integrate various data sources.
• Experience working with external APIs, particularly in retrieving and processing external data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguous data sources.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
