Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement data integrations based on user feedback to ensure solutions effectively meet business requirements.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for various streaming use cases, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Design Azure-based technical architectures, including migration strategies and application optimizations that align with product goals
• Drive digital innovation by leveraging new technologies to enhance and transform core data assets, encompassing SQL-based, NoSQL-based, and cloud-based platforms.
• Prioritize data quality and user experience by establishing standards, processes, and procedures that deliver optimal results.
• Ensure high data quality and user experience by building standards, processes, and procedures to achieve optimal results.
• Serve as a technical advisor to troubleshoot and resolve challenges related to data product infrastructure and applications.
• Promote the reuse of data assets, including managing the data catalog to enhance accessibility and reference.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks, including CI/CD pipelines, to streamline development processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment and enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and practices is essential.
• Proficiency in Python for developing data solutions and integrations is a must.
• Expertise in SQL for effective data manipulation, querying, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, and Synapse; experience with other cloud platforms is also considered.
• Knowledge of DataBricks is desirable for advanced data engineering tasks.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools to support automation and continuous deployment.
