Key Responsibilities

• Install, remove, and manage IT equipment as needed.
• Label, run, and manage cables per specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Perform power readings, reporting, and tape operations.
• Install and extend circuits as needed while reviewing project requirements for location, power, and network capacities.
• Set up, distribute, and ship equipment for remote sites.
• Troubleshoot and analyze issues related to hardware, software, network, or media, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
• Ensure physical security of the data center and hardware.
• Optimize workflows for efficiency and identify areas for policy improvement.
• Maintain service level agreements with business units and coordinate with service providers and third parties for issue resolution.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support as required.

Required Experience

• 6-8 years of experience in a large Data Center support environment.
• Hands-on support experience with data center IT equipment, including networking, server racking, cable management, and installs.
• Strong understanding of Datacenter Operations Management, ServiceNow, Vendor Management, JIRA/Confluence, and Tape Management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change & Problem Management) and monitoring tools.
