Primary Responsibilities

• Lead data architecture design and implementation for client projects, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements and technical standards.
• Architect data warehouses, data lakes, and big data ecosystems, leveraging platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, and BigQuery.
• Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database structures, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Apache NiFi, Talend, and Informatica, ensuring efficient data integration across systems.
• Work with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) to support large-scale data processing and real-time streaming architectures.
• Collaborate with cloud engineering teams to design cloud-native data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Partner with analytics and BI teams to ensure data models and pipelines support reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Establish and enforce data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.
• Ensure data architectures comply with security standards and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and implement best-in-class security protocols.
• Provide technical leadership, architectural guidance, and documentation across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in data modeling techniques: conceptual, logical, and physical.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• In-depth knowledge of data warehousing concepts and platforms such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery.
• Experience working with big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.
• Expertise in ETL/ELT tools and data integration technologies (Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica).
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality practices, and metadata management.
• Knowledge of security protocols and compliance regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Exposure to data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
