Data Annotator / Data Labeling Specialist

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Data Annotation / Data Labeling.
• Knowledge of Agile concepts and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with annotation tools such as Labelbox, CVAT, VGG, etc.
• Familiarity with image annotation, NLP labeling, and data categorization.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow annotation guidelines accurately.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Annotate text, image, audio, and structured data as per project guidelines.
• Ensure consistency in taxonomy, labeling standards, and data quality.
• Perform QA checks, identify edge cases, and support guideline improvements.
• Meet productivity and accuracy SLAs.
• Participate in calibration sessions and incorporate QA feedback.
• Document annotation decisions and maintain quality standards.
• Handle confidential data in compliance with security policies.
• Track progress and quality metrics through dashboards.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and domain experts on labeling frameworks.
• Support dataset curation, filtering, deduplication, and metadata tagging.
