Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM and other security tools.
• Analyze and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and forensic analysis.
• Collaborate with IT teams to implement security measures and controls.
• Maintain and update security tools, scripts, and documentation.
• Assist in developing incident response plans and playbooks.
• Stay up to date on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, GCIH) preferred.
