Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage and streamline the process of ticket assignment, tracking, and resolution within ServiceNow. Ensure tickets are handled according to priority and SLAs, and escalated as needed.
  • Lead daily stand-up meetings with the cybersecurity team to review ticket status, discuss priorities, and allocate resources effectively. Ensure that tasks are completed on time and that team members are aligned with project goals and deadlines.
  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on the ticketing process, including current progress, issues, and escalations. Maintain visibility on coverage and workload distribution across the team.
  • Implement and manage Agile processes, such as sprints, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, to improve team performance and accelerate issue resolution. Ensure that work is planned and delivered in alignment with Agile principles.
  • Work closely with internal teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure efficient and effective resolution of tickets. Act as a liaison between the cybersecurity team and other departments to address issues and manage expectations.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the ServiceNow ticketing workflow and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce ticket backlogs, and improve overall team performance.
  • Support the incident and problem management lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation and resolution of cybersecurity issues, risks, and incidents.
  • Ensure the correct configuration of ServiceNow to support the ticketing and reporting needs of the cybersecurity team. Work closely with other teams to integrate ServiceNow with other tools as needed (e.g., Saviynt, JIRA).

 

Required Skills and Experience
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, processes, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in a Scrum or Project Management role within an IT or cybersecurity team, including experience managing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile principles, including sprint planning, backlog management, and sprint execution. Able to apply Agile techniques to optimize team performance and ticket resolution.
  • Proficient in using ServiceNow for ticketing and incident management. Experience in configuring, customizing, and managing ServiceNow workflows is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with Saviynt (for identity governance) and JIRA (for task management) is a major plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in guiding, mentoring, and motivating cross-functional teams. Ability to drive results in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and leadership to provide clear updates and manage expectations.
