Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with customer needs, business objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring positive customer satisfaction (CSAT) levels. Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations and strategic project transitions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cybersecurity standards, policies, procedures, and best practices in line with OWASP, NIST, and other industry frameworks.
  • Coordinate major incident calls, meetings, and ensure effective communication with customers regarding security incidents, status updates, and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Identify areas for improvement within security operations, propose solutions, and drive the implementation of improvements to optimize security delivery processes and client satisfaction.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Ensure appropriate training, development, and support for team members.
  • Manage multiple strategic and critical cybersecurity projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines, budget, and scope.
  • Provide clear and concise communication of complex cybersecurity issues to non-technical audiences, ensuring that both technical and business stakeholders understand security risks, requirements, and progress.

 

Technical Skills & Expertise
  • Strong understanding of security models such as ITIL, ISO 27002, PCI DSS, and Cobit 5.
  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies, with hands-on experience in integration and testing mechanisms aligned with OWASP and NIST best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security policy, procedure design, and implementation.
  • Ability to analyze security operations, assess risks, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Experience with cybersecurity delivery management, including people care, project transition, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple strategic and critical cybersecurity projects.
  • Effective interpersonal, coaching, and team-building skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
  • CISM, CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA CySA+ certification is mandatory.
  • ITIL V3/4 Foundation or Expert certification is preferred.
  • Project Management knowledge, with certifications like PMP or PRINCE2, is a plus.
