We are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to provide on-site support for corporate and enclave firewalls, application delivery controllers, and authentication systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with firewall administration, network diagnostics, and cyber-security threat evaluation, and will lead or manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support firewalls, application delivery controllers, RADIUS, and RSA systems.
- Develop and implement firewall changes for supported networks, ensuring security.
- Evaluate requested changes for potential cyber-security threats.
- Provide 3rd level support for network issues, ensuring resolution.
- Lead projects and provide design consultation for firewall configurations.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery plans for supported devices.
- Prepare support documentation for 1st and 2nd level support teams.
- Provide off-hour support and participate in a rotating weekly on-call shift (24-hour support).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment.
- Extensive experience with firewall administration, configuration, upgrades, and diagnostics (Cisco and/or Fortinet).
- Proficiency with authentication services (AAA policies, RADIUS, RSA).
- Experience with IPSEC VPNs, IDS/IPS profiles, and SNMP monitoring.
- Strong understanding of Information Security networking best practices.
- Ability to evaluate cyber-security threats and assess designs for security risks.
- Excellent project management, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects, work independently, and make sound decisions.
