Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing and negotiation of materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors to ensure optimal pricing and quality.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of accounts payable and logistics business processes, adapting to complex and dynamic scenarios.
• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
• Operate based on established instructions and guidelines to effectively perform job functions.
• Balance multiple priorities, customers, and vendor relationships efficiently, ensuring timely execution of tasks.
• Proactively seek information from various sources to obtain the best value and make informed purchasing decisions.

Required Qualifications

• Working knowledge of GSAP (Global Supplier and Asset Planning) systems for effective supply chain management.
• Experience in managing relevant stakeholders and the ability to deliver results through collaboration and influence.
• Proven ability to understand end-to-end processes and the impacts of those processes on overall operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Solid PC skills, along with required proficiency in SAP R/3 for effective transaction management.
• May require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with 0-3 years of experience in purchasing or a related area.
• Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within supply chain and procurement fields.
