Coverity Administrator/SME

We are looking for a Coverity Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Coverity administration, configuration, maintenance, and integration, along with a solid understanding of security scanning workflows and DevOps environments.

The role involves managing Coverity platforms end-to-end, supporting CI/CD integrations, maintaining system performance, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Coverity environment across the organization.
• Manage Coverity workflows, streams, projects, custom fields, plugins, and schemes.
• Create and manage user roles and access control using LDAP and SAML.
• Integrate Coverity with CI/CD tools and development pipelines.
• Perform system administration tasks including backups, scheduled jobs, and upgrades.
• Handle Coverity upgrades, CVE updates, and customer support tickets.
• Monitor system performance and ensure platform stability and availability.
• Support PostgreSQL/Oracle database upgrades, including basic scripting and UAT testing.
• Coordinate environment changes, firewall rules, and Linux system configurations.
• Install and configure Coverity software and related tools including Jira plugins.
• Support onboarding of new customers and provide technical consultation.
• Work within Agile/Sprint-based delivery model to meet timelines.
• Ensure adherence to security standards and compliance requirements.
• Provide production support across Linux and Windows environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Coverity administration and usage.
• Deep understanding of Coverity workflows and security scanning processes.
• Experience in Coverity configuration, customization, and integration.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tool integration.
• Experience managing LDAP/SAML-based authentication and user roles.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL (basic scripting and administration).
• Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Understanding of infrastructure concepts, networking, and virtualization.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
