We are seeking a highly skilled Cosmos MSBI Engineer with extensive experience in business intelligence (BI) development and expertise in Microsoft technologies, particularly Azure, Power BI, and data integration services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data modeling, reporting, and analytics, with a focus on delivering actionable insights through BI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and build business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure SQL Database, and Synapse. Create data models and reports to deliver actionable insights for business decision-making.
- Utilize T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and DAX to perform complex data analysis and develop robust, interactive reports and dashboards. Strong focus on Power BI and Power Apps for data presentation.
- Manage and optimize Cosmos DB, Kusto, and Big Data integration, ensuring smooth data flow and integrity across systems. Identify, diagnose, and resolve data issues.
- Work with Microsoft Azure Cloud and services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse) to design and implement scalable cloud-based BI solutions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions. Present findings and insights to stakeholders using clear, compelling visualizations.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Power BI, Power Apps, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL, and DAX. Ability to build complex data models, design reports, and perform data analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Synapse, and Microsoft Cosmos DB.
- Experience in managing large datasets, optimizing data flows, and working with Big Data and Kusto environments.
- Ability to generate data insights, conduct thorough analysis, and present findings clearly using Power BI and Excel.
- Strong understanding of database structures, data warehousing concepts, and BI solution design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex data and integrate various sources effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration with business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps for app development and integration with BI solutions.
- Familiarity with Kusto and Cosmos DB for handling large-scale data and complex queries.
Education & Experience
- 10+ years of experience as a BI Developer, with expertise in MSBI, Azure, and Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
