Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Systems Engineer to join our automation and engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and commissioning advanced industrial control systems used in high-precision automated equipment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver robust, compliant, and efficient automation solutions.

This position requires strong hands-on expertise in industrial automation, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to manage complex engineering projects from concept through installation and validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and program industrial control systems including PLC, HMI, motion control, robotics, and vision systems
  • Work on automation solutions for equipment such as bottle/vial/cartridge handling, filling, capping, labeling, and palletizing systems
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and engineering teams to define User Requirement Specifications (URS) and system architecture
  • Lead and support end-to-end project execution including design, development, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation
  • Participate in design reviews with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and regular project updates to stakeholders
  • Drive best practices across automation project lifecycles including procurement, supplier design, FAT/SAT, testing, and installation
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and system performance
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in PLC programming (Ladder Logic & Structured Text)
  • Hands-on knowledge of AC/DC drives, servo motors, HMIs, machine vision, and safety systems
  • Experience in industrial automation and control system design
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and commissioning skills
  • Ability to work in engineering teams and manage project deliverables
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of SDLC-like structured engineering processes in automation projects
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and problem-solving
