Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop control system solutions for automation projects, including new system installations and upgrades of existing systems.
• Write, debug, and modify control software using tools like Allen Bradley, APT, ELAU PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Integrate control systems with plant floor devices (e.g., PLCs, HMIs), MES systems, and enterprise databases using technologies like MQTT, web services, OPC DA/UA, and historian products.
• Operate, set up, and troubleshoot VMCs, Lathe Machines, and associated cutting tools.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, or software components of control systems and machines.
• Provide onsite support during SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and commissioning of control systems. Perform system validation and troubleshooting for automation projects.
• Lead project execution on the shop floor, ensuring proper documentation, status reporting, and alignment with project requirements. Coordinate with offshore teams for support and reviews.
• Liaise with engineering teams to ensure smooth project implementation and provide ongoing technical support.

Skills & Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of industrial automation and control systems, including experience with VMCs and Lathe Machines.
• Proficiency in Allen Bradley, APT, ELAU PLCs, and HMI systems.
• Experience with OPC DA/UA, MQTT, and integration with MES and enterprise systems.
• Hands-on experience in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of control systems.
• Ability to manage projects from concept to completion, including coordination with offshore teams and managing project timelines.
• Experience with control systems in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
