Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Evaluate and analyze existing vendor contracts to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead contract negotiations to optimize pricing, terms, and overall value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with strategic objectives.
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- Partner with the finance team to align contract spending with budgetary goals.
- Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools to provide actionable insights into contract performance and expenditure.
- Contribute to Operational Expenditure (OPEX) budget transparency initiatives.
- Communicate complex technical and financial issues clearly to senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in contract evaluation, pricing, and negotiation.
- Strong understanding of finance principles, budgeting, and cost management.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with data visualization tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present findings to executive leadership.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and senior management teams.
- Ability to articulate technical issues in terms of business risk and impact on desired outcomes.
- Delivery-focused with the willingness to perform all tasks required to complete projects, including administrative and documentation duties.
