Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and optimize the Collibra Data Governance platform for the organization.
• Work on creating and managing data quality rules, workflows, and policies within Collibra.
• Develop and manage Data Quality Dashboards and Reports using Collibra’s reporting capabilities.
• Implement data stewardship and governance processes to ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on data governance principles.
• Develop and implement end-to-end data quality frameworks to improve data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Design and maintain data profiling, validation, and cleansing processes to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on data quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Leverage GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and others to implement data quality processes and ensure high-quality data pipelines.
• Work on integrating Collibra with GCP services for automated data quality monitoring and reporting.
• Develop, implement, and automate data quality checks within data processing pipelines in GCP (e.g., using Cloud Functions, Cloud Composer, or Dataflow).
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards for data governance in GCP environments.

Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of experience working with Collibra for data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Strong knowledge of configuring data quality rules, workflows, data stewardship, and policy management in Collibra.
• Hands-on experience with Collibra’s reporting, dashboards, and integration with external systems.
• At least 3 years of experience working with GCP services (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, etc.) to implement data pipelines, data quality checks, and data governance solutions.
• Familiarity with GCP’s data-related services and their integration capabilities with third-party tools like Collibra.
• Solid understanding of data quality principles, including data profiling, cleansing, validation, and monitoring.
• Experience with implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices within a large-scale organization.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data governance and data quality.
• Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing data in cloud environments (e.g., BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and how they impact data quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data issues.
