Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud network architectures in GCP and AWS, including VPCs, peering, VPNs, Private Service Connect, and hybrid connectivity.
• Configure and manage advanced networking protocols (e.g., BGP, DNS, TLS, IPsec, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP).
• Automate network infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for network health and performance using tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Lead and participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution of network-related issues.
• Collaborate with cloud architects, security teams, and developers to support scalable and secure infrastructure.
• Drive cost-optimization and ensure network designs align with business requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional communication and planning.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in cloud networking with GCP and AWS.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native networking services and internet routing protocols.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong experience with network security, firewalls, and access control policies.
• Familiarity with cloud governance, compliance, and best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in high-availability production environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership skills.

Preferred

• GCP Professional Cloud Network Engineer or AWS Advanced Networking certification.
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud network setups.
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, load balancers, and service mesh technologies.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
