Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouse.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, identify opportunities for data acquisition, and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Optimize and tune existing data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency.
• Implement data models and schemas to support business reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and maintain data documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data flow diagrams.
• Identify and resolve data-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our data infrastructure.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• 5-12 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale data solutions.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala for data processing and ETL tasks.
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache NiFi, or similar.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated services (e.g., S3, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience with data orchestration and workflow management tools like Apache Airflow or similar.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
