Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Claims Center Business Analyst with a strong background in Guidewire ClaimCenter projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the claims lifecycle, product configurations, integrations, and Agile delivery methodologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define business processes, and support implementation and troubleshooting activities.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Guidewire ClaimCenter, including claims lifecycle, integrations, out-of-the-box functionality, product model, business rules, and incident troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams in Agile environments to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Document detailed Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), use cases, and wireframes to support development and implementation.
  • Utilize defect and ticketing tools (e.g., Rally, JIRA) to document requirements, user stories, and defects, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and cross-functional team meetings to ensure alignment and timely delivery of requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and provide recommendations for system enhancements or process improvements.
  • Assist in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and resolution of issues within ClaimCenter.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter projects, including functional and technical understanding of the system.
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies and practices.
  • Proven ability to produce detailed SRS documents, use cases, and wireframes.
  • Experience working with defect/ticketing tools such as Rally, JIRA, or similar platforms.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience working daily within cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with ClaimCenter integrations and product model customization.
  • Knowledge of insurance claims processes across multiple lines of business.
