The Cisco FMC Engineer is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of Cisco Firewall Management Center (FMC) appliances and firewalls. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Cisco FMC, as well as experience with Cisco firewalls and security technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and manage Cisco FMC appliances and firewalls
• Implement and maintain security policies on Cisco FMC
• Monitor and troubleshoot Cisco FMC and firewall performance
• Perform regular security assessments and audits
• Keep up-to-date on the latest Cisco FMC and firewall security threats and vulnerabilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 8 to 12 years of experience in Cisco FMC administration
• Strong understanding of Cisco FMC, Cisco firewalls, and security technologies
• Experience with Cisco ASA, FTD, and ISE
• Experience with VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and web content filtering
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Cisco AMP and Umbrella
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
