Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of complex computing applications and system architectures within Electrical Engineering systems
• Maintain CADDStation applications running on Solaris hosted on Linux
• Monitor and support the CADDStation ecosystem on Solaris platform
• Analyze end-user processes to define application requirements
• Develop and support Unix-based solutions for hardware/software upgrades and refactoring
• Modify and enhance applications to maintain performance and functionality
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex programming and architectural issues
• Recommend system and process improvements

Required Technical / Functional Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C++ and C across native Unix platforms
• Strong knowledge of software/hardware compatibility and solution design
• Experience with project management tools (TFS, Quality Center)
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata)
• Experience with configuration control tools (Git, Visual Source Safe, ClearCase, SCCS)
• Experience with Windows, Solaris, and Linux (Oracle 8+, RHEL 6–7)
• Proficiency with Microsoft documentation tools (Word, Visio, PowerPoint)
• Experience in Java or modern programming languages
• Experience developing web applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD methodologies
• Experience with ADO/TFS, GitLab, Git, IIS, Windows Server
• Experience with PCF/Tanzu and exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud-native/microservices development
