We are seeking a skilled CAD Developer to join our team, specializing in 3D product development and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD modeling, simulation preparation, and software development, along with excellent project management skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 3D geometry for finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle for CAD-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
- Lead multiple enterprise-level custom development projects, coordinating efforts across business and technical teams.
- Implement agile development practices to drive continuous improvement and enhance project execution.
- Identify and resolve issues by researching problems, collaborating with teams, and providing effective solutions.
- Develop short and long-term project plans, prioritize tasks, and manage changing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Foster strong relationships with business management and technical teams to align project goals and objectives.
- Provide ongoing support and enhancements for products, working closely with end-users to gather feedback and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in 3D product development and integration (CAD/CAE/PLM).
- Proficiency in CAD modeling software (e.g., Creo, Smart Marine 3D, Aveva’s TRIBON, CATIA, Pro-E, Ship Constructor, AutoCAD).
- Experience preparing 3D geometry for simulation (FEA/CFD) is preferred.
- Proven knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and project management principles.
- Agile development training or experience is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach to issue resolution.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple custom development projects and working directly with end-users.
