Business Systems Analyst (EDM / BI)

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis for large-scale BI and analytics projects.
• Facilitate workshops and gather requirements from senior stakeholders.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications.
• Conduct data validation and review ETL/data model designs.
• Develop UAT plans, coordinate testing, and ensure BI deliverables meet requirements.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with BI developers, data engineers, and project managers to align delivery.
• Mentor junior and mid-level BSAs, providing feedback and guidance.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and analytics architecture.
• Experience in Agile delivery, using Jira and Confluence.

• Deep understanding of finance or insurance business processes.
