The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing business systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify needs, document requirements, and develop solutions that align with business goals. The analyst will collaborate with IT teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of systems, as well as provide ongoing support and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and document detailed requirements for system enhancements or new implementations.
- Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and propose solutions to address business needs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and technological capabilities.
- Create and maintain clear, comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, system diagrams, and user guides.
- Coordinate with IT teams, developers, and other stakeholders to design, test, and implement system changes or new solutions.
- Conduct system testing to ensure new solutions meet business requirements and resolve any issues before deployment.
- Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of new systems and processes.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback to recommend and implement ongoing improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of business processes and system analysis techniques.
- Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using business analysis and project management tools like jira
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
